What is DSLR Camera
The full form of DSLR is a Digital single-lens reflex. A DSLR camera is a digital camera body that allows light to enter a single lens where it hits a mirror that reflects the light up or down into the camera’s viewfinder.
When you press the shutter to take a photo, the mirror moves out of the way. The shutter then slides and the light coming from the lens is shot directly at the imaging sensor where a picture is registered. This explains the SLR part of the briefcase. Digital refers to the digital sensor instead of using 35mm film.
To understand SLR vs DSLR one has to understand that the mechanics are similar but SLRs use real film and DSLRs are digital. This gives a lot of benefits.
